Crisis Resources

Please be aware that I do not provide 24/7 crisis services. Please do not use email or phone for emergencies. If you need immediate help, please see the resources below that offer confidential 24/7 assistance: 

• If you are having an mental health or medical emergency, please call 911 or go to your local emergency room. 
• If you are in need of emotional support due to suicidal crisis or emotional distress, you can call the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline at 988 or the Crisis Text Line by texting  HOME to 741741. 
• If you are experiencing domestic abuse, please call 911 if you are in immediate danger. If you need help or resources, please call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233 or text START to 88788. 
• The Trevor Project (for LGBTQ+ youth in crisis):  1-866-488-7386 (call), 678678 (text), or online chat thru their website. 
• The Trans Lifeline (for transgender and questioning people in crisis and not in crisis): call  1-877-565-8860

• The Network/La Red Hotline:  for LGBTQ+ people and people in the kink and polyamorous communities who are experiencing abuse or have been abused by a partner –call 1-800-832-1900 
• The Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline: 1-800-422-4453 (call or text) 
• Parent/Guardian Stress Line:  1-800-632-8188 (call only) 
• SAMHSA National Helpline:  for mental health and/or substance use, this service provides referrals to local treatment facilities and support groups. Free, confidential, 24/7 call 1-800-662-4357 (also known as the Treatment Referral Routing Service) or 1-800-487-4889 (TTY).
