Services and Payment/Counseling Fees
Services: I offer 45-60 minute individual psychotherapy sessions for adolescents and adults living in Massachusetts and New Hampshire (due to state licensure restrictions, I cannot meet virtually with people who are not located in these states). Please note that I do not offer family nor couples therapy.
My current working hours are Monday to Thursday between 9am to 6pm and Fridays 9am to 1pm. Please ask about availability. All sessions take place using a secure, HIPAA protected telehealth platform (No in-person sessions).
I also offer a one-time, free 15-20 minute phone consultation for new clients, which is when we can discuss your concerns and questions you may have to help us know whether my approach might be helpful or relevant for what you are looking for at this time.
Payment/Fees: The current fees are $160 for the initial session and $135 per follow up session (see Documents section below for more details). I cannot provide reduced rates nor do I offer a sliding scale. I accept self-pay and all other payments via credit card (including HSA) through a secure, HIPAA protected online platform.
If you plan to use your insurance, please check your insurance plan's benefits and eligibility for mental health services before we meet, as you will be responsible for any copays, coinsurance, or deductible fees. Please be aware that insurance plans require that I provide a clinical diagnosis in order to be paid for services, and this will become part of your medical record and insurance company files.
Accepted Insurance: I am an in-network provider for the following commercial insurance plans: Blue Cross Blue Shield, Harvard Pilgrim, Mass General Brigham, United Healthcare, United Behavioral Health, Optum, and Tufts.
I cannot accept Medicare and Medicaid (MassHealth). If you have out-of-network benefits and would like to use them, I can provide necessary documentation.
Late Cancellations: When we schedule an appointment, I am reserving that time for you. For no shows and non-emergency late cancellations (less than 24 hours notice) I charge the non-negotiable fee of $75 that cannot be billed to your insurance.
